There are defined governor limits that constrain our flexibility when working in an async context–no calling @future methods from an asynchronous context or queueing up more than 1 concurrent queueable or batchable job from a queueable or batchable context, for instance. This presentation will aim to introduce platform events to those who are unfamiliar with them as a platform feature and to get people thinking about the ways that platform events can help them to circumvent asynchronous governor limits.
